EDIUS X Pro Upgrade from EDIUS Pro 9 / Workgroup 9 for existing EDIUS user

Description

Upgrade from EDIUS Pro 9 or EDIUS Workgroup 9 to EDIUS Pro X. You will need your EDIUS 9 serial number when installing EDIUS X; your old copy of EDIUS 9 will be deactivated when you install EDIUS X.

EDIUS X marks the start into a new era of nonlinear editing. EDIUS X comes with a completely redesigned core engine along with a modular concept allowing even more performance for fully customizable workflows.

For about two decades EDIUS is well known for its stability, benchmark setting performance, and creative tools. EDIUS is being used across the industry from broadcast facilities and news agencies up to government institutions, corporate productions, independent film makers, video creators and video enthusiasts.

The new modular design enables Grass Valley to continuously update and enhance the EDIUS X feature set and workflow options. This will allow to meet upcoming customer demands and to incorporate new technologies and web services such as machine learning during the ongoing development

• Preferred computer system hardware for best performance:For the best experience with 4K and 8K editing an Intel i9-14900k CPU, an Asus PoArt Creator Z790 motherboard, 64GB RAM, an RTX2060, to and RTX4090 as budget allows, a 2TB NVM SSD system drive and a 4TB NVM SSD video drive is recommended. A higher core count CPU such as the AMD 64 core 7980X and a TRS5 motherboard is recommended for top end editing.
