Dolby Plus/Professional Option for EDIUS X Workgroup
The Dolby Digital Plus license is an extra feature to the included consumer license, (AC3 Files) and adds full broadcast support for up to 7.1 channels of audio (E-AC3) to your final video file and allows import of Dolby Digital Plus files to your timeline. Dolby Digital Plus, uses a “core plus extension” structure, a new and unique technique to address downmix compatibility. The core is a complete 5.1-channel mix, while an extension contains any additional channels, and any decoder is capable of producing a stereo downmix so no need for separate stereo mix stream.
